The system features an 8TB RAID-5 array of disks, as well as an 8TB RAID-5 spare drive. This infrastructure stores 3D imagery and incident data, while also creating backups for added protection.

The platform is based on the open source DCM4CHEE Pacs Server software. This option allows for faster and safer retrieval, study, processing and storage of medical tests, contributing to immediate and accurate diagnosis.

Advanced Equipment in the Interventional Radiology Laboratory
The Interventional Radiology - Neuroradiology laboratory of the 251st General Hospital is one of the few public departments where aneurysms and brain malformations are treated through embolization. To support these specialized procedures, the laboratory has:
- The Siemens Artisdba angiography system with two 3D imaging stations and dyna CT (Syngo Workplace CT angiography).
- Four Apple iMac workstations. These workstations provide DICOM file retrieval and processing capabilities, based on the open source Osirix architecture.
