Blackmagic Design has announced the availability of the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2. A next-generation model of the popular Micro Studio Camera 4K.<\/span><\/span> The new model retains the compact design of the original model, but has been upgraded with a 4K digital film sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range and double native ISO up to 25,600 for incredible low-light performance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 adds 12G-SDI for up to 2160p60 operation and a new USB-C expansion port for Blackmagic RAW recording to external drives and network control via Ethernet adapters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 is the perfect solution for mounting cameras on set when clients don't have space for full-size cameras.<\/span><\/span> It includes the popular MFT lens mount, a 4K ultra-low-light image sensor, and cinematic color rendering.<\/span><\/span> It is small, but has the features of a studio camera with<\/span><\/span>\u00a012G-SDI for HD and Ultra HD operation up to 2160p60.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is also possible to control the built-in color corrector and lens using the SDI and HDMI connections.<\/span><\/span> It can even record Blackmagic RAW to USB drives.<\/span><\/span> The Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K goes beyond broadcast quality with log gamma, allowing users to create cinematic color-corrected footage.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Micro Studio has all the advantages of a large studio camera in a small, durable body that can be placed anywhere.<\/span><\/span> It features a hard magnesium alloy core in a body that's not much larger than the lens base itself.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Users can use high-performance MFT lenses or add adapters for broadcast lenses.<\/span><\/span> Additionally, the buttons on the front provide quick access to the settings menu and recording activation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The stunning 4K sensor combined with Blackmagic 5th generation color science delivers the same imaging technology used in digital film cameras.<\/span><\/span> With 13 stops of dynamic range, the camera has darker blacks and brighter whites, perfect for color correction.<\/span><\/span> The sensor features a resolution of 4096 x 2160, ideal for HD and Ultra HD work.<\/span><\/span> Additionally, it supports from 23.98 fps to 60 fps.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Also presenthas many different energy options.<\/span><\/span> Includes a 12 V DC power socket so the cable is not accidentally pulled. <\/span><\/span>The camera also supports a standard LP-E6 compatible battery.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u039cThey can even use an adapter to connect the camera to V-Lock batteries for true all-day power.<\/span><\/span> This is an excellent solution when there is no power available where the cameras are mounted.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
