Automatic, Smart, Efficient, Live Broadcasting
Mobile Viewpoint's automated VPilot Studio allows broadcasters to create fully automated, live news programming. Mobile Viewpoint's patented Virtual Director software captures every interview or news production with vibrancy and precision. With this state-of-the-art solution, there is no longer a need for a cameraman or director.
VPilot uses a combination of static and PTZ cameras in conjunction with a software package, which integrates Autopointer and Virtual Director software. The VPilot platform uses AI algorithms that automatically change and control the PTZ cameras by analyzing 3D images and audio signals in the television studio. In the default configuration, VPilot supports 7 SDI/camera inputs and up to 30 audio channels based on Ravenna/AES67/Dante.
Image and voice recognition
VPilot supports automatic tagging based on image recognition, meaning it can automatically identify who is speaking and who is being added to a conversation. Voice recognition has also been added to enable automatic overlays based on who is, for example, participating in a TV news broadcast.
Cost-effective for large and small productions
VPilot is available in two configurations: NewsPilot and StreamPilot. NewsPilot is best suited for studio use as well as live news coverage and provides three PTZ cameras.
StreamPilot is a single-camera solution aimed at journalists, bloggers, radio stations and event organizers to support the production of live events and interviews. Both versions include the Automated Studio control box which comes with Virtual Director, switching software and a graphics engine pre-installed and ready to use.
VPanel: Automation of productions
VPanel is an automated studio control box that supports seamless and full automation for studio productions. It allows the user to “train” the system with manual direction and enables intervention when a shot is not producing the desired result. It also provides full control over the functionality – which can be changed at any time by the presenter or operator – and supports switching to external shots, Skype connections and other video streams, as well as video and graphics overlay.
LinkMatrix: Online flow management and control
All Mobile Viewpoint products come with the LinkMatrix platform. LinkMatrix allows users to publish the same content to multiple platforms, including Social Media channels and private CDNs. With Linkmatrix, broadcasters can control and manage all WMT devices and their connections.
Design & Switch Feeds Online
LinkMatrix can be upgraded to include access to LinkMix, a real-time switching and playback hub. LinkMix allows content owners to create a complete live switching web. Features such as playlist creation allow for full IPTV channel production. Also included is the ability to add leaders, overlays, ticker tapes and ad insertion.
