Blackmagic Announces Blackmagic Cloud Store!
Blackmagic Design has introduced a new line of products, Blackmagic Cloud Store, for remote collaboration across common video and broadcast workflows. The new network storage products offer unique features for film and television productions.
10G high-speed Ethernet
The Cloud series products are incredibly fast with high-speed 10G Ethernet and massively parallel and actively cooled memory cores based on M.2 flash cards. This allows Blackmagic Cloud to store and maintain high data rates for multiple users simultaneously.
Additionally, they run the Blackmagic OS, allowing you to sync your footage from anywhere with Dropbox. The new DaVinci Resolve 18 proxies are also recognized, syncing before the original camera files, so you can move jobs around the world in minutes.
Blackmagic Cloud Store
The top model of the series, will be available in 3 capacities, 20TB, 80TB and 320TB. It is equipped with 4 x 10G Ethernet ports, USB for backup and download, HDMI monitoring in full storage mode, RAID 5, dual power supplies and silent operation. It has an attractive design and is small and portable, so it can be used in the set.
The Blackmagic Cloud Store will be available starting Q2 2022.
