Final Cut Pro X 10.2 uses the 2 GPUs on your graphics cards to preview and properly render effects, so you can work more efficiently in real time.
During editing, Final Cut Pro X 10.2 works in the background performing a variety of tasks, including image analysis, rendering, transcoding, and moving media. Opening the Job History window gives you a detailed view of active processes, and you can pause or cancel any process with a click.

Create a new title or convert an existing 2D title to 3D with a single click. Mix and match materials, lighting, and hundreds of combinations that you can save as custom text styles directly in Final Cut Pro. You can even create a scene in full 3D, with multiple objects and different shadows and reflections.
Choose from a range of simple 3D animated templates to get started quickly. Or use cinematic templates with built-in backgrounds to get stunning results with just one click.

Work with a wider range of formats and edit faster than ever with GPU support for Red Raw. Final Cut Pro X 10.2 includes support for the entire Panasonic AVC-Ultra series in addition to Sony XAVC S and JVC H.264 Long GOP. And now you can import Sony XAVC and XDCAM formats directly without the need for a separate plug-in. Final Cut Pro X 10.2 also automatically displays Red Raw anamorphic formats in the correct aspect ratio, so you can work effortlessly with widescreen footage.
Additional Features
Create a custom file of one or more effects, and save it to the Effects Browser for quick access later. The Smart Collections app will help you organize an entire library. Every new library starts with a helpful set of Smart Collections created for you, and you can build your own library with a few simple clicks.
Final Cut Pro X XML version 1.5 supports the new features in Final Cut Pro 10.2. And Final Cut Pro can now export to the previous version of XML for improved compatibility with third-party software. Import, edit, and share MXF files with Final Cut Pro X and Motion. Native support means there’s no need to convert or rewrap MXF files from file management systems or third-party applications. Built-in Compressor settings make it simple to export OP1a MXF files in a variety of frame rates, frame sizes, and codecs.
