New Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve 12.5

Blackmagic recently announced the latest version DaVinci Resolve 12.5.

The new DaVinci Resolve 12.5 is a significant upgrade, with over 1,000 improvements and 250 new features over the previous version. It includes significant additions to the editing toolset, new and improved color features, improved HDR support, and powerful new effects.

DaVinci Resolve 12.5 is designed to make the work of professional editors and colorists easier and faster while giving them more creative options than ever before. With many users turning to DaVinci Resolve, Blackmagic Design has taken the feedback and enhanced the software with the desired features.

DaVinci Resolve 12.5 adds dozens of new editing and trimming features, including new swap and shuffle edits, seven all-new trimming features: head and tail trimming, ripple cut and paste insert commands, extended overlay editing with ripple overwrites, append edits, and much more. In addition, timeline functionality has been significantly improved, using native or optimized media files makes editing faster than ever! With the new cinema viewer option, video plays in full screen, making it easier for users to preview their work on laptops or single-screen systems.

DaVinci Resolve 12.5 introduces a completely new way to navigate clips using audio waveforms. With the revolutionary audio waveform overlay, you can see the video clip and the audio waveform at the same time. It’s the fastest way to navigate to different parts of a clip based on the information provided by the audio waveform.

DaVinci Resolve 12.5 also adds dozens of new media and metadata management features that make it easier to organize and edit large volumes of media files.
