Blackmagic Web Presenter, HyperDeck Studio Mini and ATEM Television Studio HD

Roker Labs focuses on media and innovation, testing streaming technologies, pioneering new streaming formats, and producing next-generation interactive experiences on leading content platforms. The team produces dozens of live shows, including popular cooking, entertainment, technology, and science talk shows. Blackmagic Web Presenter, HyperDeck Studio Mini, and ATEM Television Studio HD are used to support such demanding programs.

Ben Ratner is the Technical Director of Roker Labs' live streaming and is the lead technical lead and designer. The shows have a very diverse set of technical requirements. Some are shot directly at Roker Labs' studios, while others are shot from a variety of locations around New York City. Because Ratner is often the only crew member, his production tools need to be compact, easy to use, portable, and reliable.

Ratner stated:
