New ChatGPT Apps for Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat & Express
Adobe is bringing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Express to ChatGPT, enabling more than 800 million users to edit images, PDFs and graphics directly from chat, without switching between apps. The new ChatGPT apps allow content creation and modification with simple natural suggestions, such as “blur the background”, “add more contrast” or “make a social media post with these colors”, leveraging the capabilities of Adobe tools within the ChatGPT environment.
Photoshop and Acrobat on ChatGPT
With the Photoshop app in ChatGPT, users can edit specific parts of an image, remove or blur backgrounds, adjust brightness, contrast and exposure, and apply creative effects, while maintaining the quality of the original image. The Acrobat app allows for merging files, editing or extracting text and tables, compressing and converting documents to PDF, bringing office and productivity workflows into the ChatGPT conversation.
Social Media Graphics with Adobe Express
The Adobe Express app within ChatGPT enables users to create and edit designs – such as posters, invitations, social media graphics – by choosing from professional templates, changing text and images, adjusting colors and adding animations, all through descriptive prompts. For more detailed control, users can open images, PDFs or designs in native Adobe applications at any time and continue editing there.
The assistant understands context such as colors, fonts, element hierarchy, and brand style, suggesting layout, typography, and color combinations that follow professional design practices.
