PushPlay Global Short Film Competition by LaCie and Seagate from 20/3 to 30/5
LaCie PushPlay Short Film Competition. The aim of the two companies is to promote young independent creators and filmmakers and the best short films.
Regardless of genre, each submitted film will be evaluated based on certain initial criteria.
- Is it less than 20 minutes?
- Is she emotionally attractive?
- Does it create strong emotions?
- Is it provocative?
- Is it original?
Big budgets, famous actors, and flashy special effects are attractive, but they are not part of the criteria.

Selection Process
March 20 – May 1: Film Submission
March 20 – May 1: The jury will view all the films, evaluate them based on the initial criteria and upload them to the PushPlay site.
May 2 – May 15: The jury will select the 20 best films.
May 16 – 29: The twenty shortlisted films will be presented on the #PushPlay site and the public will vote for the winner. Everyone interested will be informed of the result.
May 30: The film that has won by a majority of the audience's votes will be announced.

The winner will receive a two-day coaching session, a full video production suite, and will benefit from exposure across LaCie and Seagate marketing channels and social media, as follows:
A two-day mentoring session with Oscar-winning filmmaker, Michael Paleodimos, who will provide the winner with expert advice, guidance and practical presentations to equip them with the skills needed to enhance their work.

LaCie and Seagate are globally recognized companies. They will use their respective marketing channels to promote the #PushPlay winner to the global film community and market.
