External graphics cards for Macbook Pro and iMac
The MacBook Pro with technology Thunderbolt 3 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 It can have excellent graphics performance when connected to an external graphics processor, known as an eGPU.

• Using the menu to safely disconnect the eGPU
• Control the activity levels of integrated and external GPUs.
It is important to use an eGPU with a recommended graphics card and Thunderbolt 3. If you're using a MacBook Pro, the eGPU's Thunderbolt 3 should provide sufficient power to operate the graphics card while charging the computer. Check the manufacturer's information to make sure it is sufficient to charge the connected MacBook Pro.
