The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) did its best in terms of Graphics for its successful coverage of the Canadian Federal Election. It used augmented reality (AR) effects and 3D animations with the result that many commentators and viewers considered it more visually appealing and informative than any other Canadian network that night.

The company responsible for dynamic graphics was Astucemedia (based in Montreal), which used Vizrt solutions.

"Our team's goal was to change the scene with fresh, new designs that leverage the latest graphics production tools and real-time graphics systems from Vizrt," said Alex Leclerc, CEO of Astucemedia.

In the setting of the live broadcast during the election night, a series of augmented reality charts (AR charts) created from the live voting data (live voting data) were used, while the same happened with the dynamic animations depicted in the studio floor, which were harnessed to provide previously impossible physical interactions between TV presenters and on-air graphics, creating a stunning display of information like this arrived in real time.
