Blackmagic Design Training Videos
Blackmagic Design has announced the creation of a series of educational videos for end users, which will be available on its website www.blackmagicdesign.com as well as on YouTube. The first of these DaVinci Resolve 15 training videos has already been published, is part of Blackmagic Design’s official training series and has been developed with the help of certified professional trainers.
DaVinci Resolve 15
The video titled “The Art of Color Grading” begins with an overview of the DaVinci Resolve 15 color page interface. You’ll then learn how and why you should use the primary grading features, along with how to examine scopes so you can make the right decisions to color balance different shots.
You'll also learn how to use secondary tools like Power Windows, Qualifiers, and Keyers to isolate and track different parts of the image so you can make targeted corrections and create completely unique images.
The long (2 hours) video covers in detail several of the features of DaVinci Resolve 15. In the relevant YouTube link you will be able to navigate to any of the individual sections you wish. You will also find instructions to download the sample project and the materials used in order to follow the hands-on training and take full advantage of this educational effort by Blackmagic Design.
