Blackmagic Design has announced the release of the new Blackmagic Videohub 80×80 12G. A larger 80×80 12G-SDI router that allows users to connect and route any combination of SD, HD and Ultra HD to the same router simultaneously.
The Blackmagic Videohub 80×80 12G features a front panel with shortcut buttons, an LCD that can display labels or live video, a metal rotary knob for browsing video sources, reference connections, and redundant power.

Blackmagic Videohub 12G eliminates cable clutter because users can connect all their SDI equipment to the router and then make the connections electronically.
ΔThey don't need complex system diagrams for the studio, because they can connect any input to any output or even one input to multiple outputs. This means the monitors can see any source in the studio.
Provided absolute flexibility to handle continuous changes or even emergency needs. Allows users to use multiple HyperDeck recorders for redundant mastering.
Also can route video to multiple processors for all broadcast platforms. The Videohub 12G is great for adding extra inputs to an ATEM.
The Blackmagic Videohub 80×80 12G zero latency supports any combination of SD, HD and Ultra HD to the router simultaneously. It has a control panel, repeat timing and external Ethernet control.
The integrated control panel allows users to route video, making it the perfect solution for live production racks that don't have room for additional panels. The panel is similar to the Videohub Master Control Pro and features a rotary knob for navigation, direct entry buttons for speed, and an LCD for displaying labels. The LCD screen also has a menu for changing settings.
Videohub Software Control
If you need affordable external router control, then Videohub Software Control is ideal. Videohub Software Control is available for Mac and Windows. The software has large, easy-to-use buttons. Each button can be customized to an input, an output, and has an icon assigned for visual recognition.
The large buttons are great for use with a touchscreen, where the software turns into a large-screen XY control panel. Users can even download a version of the software for the Apple iPad.
