Blackmagic Design: DaVinci Resolve Studio 21 with new Photo Page and powerful AI tools
Blackmagic Design has announced the new DaVinci Resolve 21, a major upgrade that further expands the capabilities of the renowned software for editing, color correction, visual effects, motion graphics and audio post production. The new version brings hundreds of improvements, with the most significant addition being the new Photo page, which now integrates photo editing into the same workflow.
DaVinci Resolve 21 also introduces a new generation of AI tools, such as AI IntelliSearch, AI Speech Generator, AI CineFocus, AI Face Age Transformer, AI Face Reshaper, AI Blemish Removal, AI Slate ID, AI UltraSharpen and AI Motion Deblur, aimed at even faster material search, process automation and more flexible creative control.
DaVinci Resolve Studio 21
The new version of DaVinci Resolve 21 offers:
- New Photo page for importing, organizing and editing photos with DaVinci Resolve's color tools.
- Support for node based grading on still images, along with curves, qualifiers, power windows and Resolve FX.
- AI IntelliSearch to search for people, objects and words within clips and dialogues.
- AI Speech Generator for creating voiceovers from text, even with a voice model based on a short audio sample.
- New tools like AI CineFocus, Face Age Transformer, Face Reshaper, and Blemish Removal for advanced image and face control.
- Improvements to the Edit and Cut pages with updated keyframing and greater support for graphic formats.
- Upgrades to the Color page with MultiMaster trim passes, layer list node graphs and improved group versions.
- Over 70 new graphics in Fusion via the Krokodove toolset.
- New folder tracks in Fairlight for easier organization and navigation in complex audio projects.
- Increased support for immersive and VR workflows.
