BOXX Technologies
BOXX Technologies, the leading provider of high-performance workstations, rendering systems and servers, has announced its new APEXX S-class workstation series, led by the APEXX S3. Designed for 3D design, CAD and motion media workflows that require higher-end CPU frequencies for lightly threaded applications, the compact APEXX S3 features an octa-core 9th Gen Intel Core i7 or i9 processor (professionally overclocked to 5.1GHz) to support even heavily threaded applications.
“Creative professionals are facing projects that used to take two and a half years to complete, but now require a 15-month turnaround,” said Bill Leasure, BOXX VP Marketing. “The APEXX S3, along with the rest of the new S-Class systems, allows users to work at high speeds and stay ahead of the competition.
3D design, CAD and motion media
Designed for professional use with programs like Autodesk, Solidworks, Adobe CC, Cinema 4D and more, the APEXX S3 maintains a frequency of 5.1GHz on all cores, even in the most demanding cases. With increased storage capacity and upgrade options, as well as multiple NVIDIA Quadro or AMD Radeon Pro graphics cards, the S3 is also ideal for lightweight GPU computing or virtual reality.

BOXX Technologies APEXX Enigma S3
The APEXX Enigma S3 is a new addition to the S-class series. Designed to accelerate professional 3D applications, the Enigma S3 can also be configured with 9th Gen Intel Core i7/i9 octa-core processors overclocked to 5.1GHz and up to three professional GPUs, making it ideal for workflows that involve significant GPU performance or GPU compute workloads. It also delivers professional performance for all 3D CAD, animation, motion media and applications such as Autodesk 3ds Max, Revit, AutoCAD and Solidworks, Autodesk University 2018, the top workstation for Autodesk Maya and Arnold. .
BOXX Technologies APEXX S1, S3 & S4
The APEXX S3 and Enigma S3 join the APEXX S1, the world’s smallest professional workstation. The S1 also features an overclocked, eight-core Intel Core i7 for 3D content creation, CAD design and motion media, but with its ultra-compact chassis, it’s the solution for limited space, an open environment where aesthetics are a high priority, or workflows where a graphics card is used primarily for presentation. The S-class series is rounded out by the APEXX S4, a rack mount system designed for heavy rendering or GPU compute.
“BOXX systems are tailored to accelerate workflows and increase productivity,” said Bill Leasure. “The true return on investment comes when you consider the performance of the new APEXX S systems and the benefits they provide creative professionals over the course of a day, week, month or year.”
