Comart offers Infortrend solutions for professional video, broadcast and post-production environments, integrating them into its overall portfolio for storage & archiving, ingest, editing and media management.

Infortrend focuses on shared media storage for collaborative editing, 4K/8K workflows, content delivery and secure capacity scaling, with support for applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer and NUKE. For media & entertainment workflows, the EonStor GS, EonStor GSe, EonStor CS and EonStor DS series are recommended, covering needs from shared storage and scale-out NAS to pure SAN architectures.

The EonStor GS and GSe series are recommended for video editing, post-production, ingest, content delivery and media asset workflows, while the CS and DS solutions are suitable for larger media environments where scale-out NAS or SAN infrastructures are required. The current product families that Infortrend displays for media storage include models such as GS 4000U, GS 3000U, GS 3000UT, GS 3000/4000 G3, GSe 4000U, GSe 3000UT, CS 4000, CS 3000 and the DS series for SAN workflows with Apple Xsan or StorNext. Our goal is to properly configure a comprehensive media storage workflow based on the number of simultaneous users, file formats, throughput needs, data protection, capacity expansion and interconnection with workstations, ingest, archive and MAM infrastructures.
