AJA Video Systems' new 4K HD RovoCam
The new RovoCam from AJA Video Systems is the company's first compact block camera for industrial, corporate, professional ProAV, broadcast and security applications. Advanced Sony optics with integrated 12x optical and up to 20x Zoom with Sony Super Resolution Zoom, enables you to record video in UltraHD and HD.
What sets RovoCam apart from the competition in its class is a complete HDBaseT environment that supports uncompressed video, power, stereo audio and RS-232 control over a single CAT 5e/6 cable that can be up to 100 meters long. With so much functionality and power over a single cable connection, installation, camera setup and space requirements are simplified.
Reliable, practical, compact, covered with sturdy and durable aluminum, small and light, RovoCam is easy to install and covers a wide range of needs. With the use of the RovoRx-HDMI receiver unit (optional equipment) it is possible to remotely receive the RovoCam signal at distances of up to 100 meters and output to HDMI televisions and devices. RovoCam is also compatible with selected receivers on the market.
Additionally, with RovoControl, AJA's free software for Mac, Windows and Linux, it is possible to remotely control one or more RovoCams for functions such as zoom, iris and focus. Essentially, it is an electronic PTZ for Pan and Tilt in HD quality.
