Blackmagic Design has announced 2 new control panels designed to access the full power of ATEM Constellation HD and 4K. The new ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel 20 and 30 models feature the same sleek design as the 2 M/E and 4 M/E Advanced Panels, in a compact size to fit into any studio.
The new 1 M/E panels include up to 3 LCD control screens, buttons to control 4 upstream keyers, 4 downstream keyers and 4 M/E rows, joystick, T-bar fader and more.
ATEM 1 M/E
ATEM Advanced Panels extend the power of ATEM Constellation by giving users tremendous control over setting up complex effects. Also with buttons, joystick and Fader T-bar, access to all switcher functions is provided simultaneously.
Advanced ATEM panels feature a familiar M/E style layout. Each panel has built-in LCD displays for menus, high-quality buttons with customizable lighting color, DVE joystick and T-bar fader.
All M/E button rows include built-in LCD displays for dynamic highlighting. The new 1 M/E Advanced Panel 20 features 20 input buttons and 2 control LCDs, while the larger 1 M/E Advanced Panel 30 has 30 input buttons and features 3 LCDs. Both models feature buttons for controlling 4 upstream keyers, 4 downstream keyers, and 4 M/E rows.
ATEM Constellation
ATEM Constellation is designed for advanced live switching workflows. Internally, the ATEM Constellation features separate program and preview buses that users can use to switch sources quickly and accurately.
When transition types are selected, an LCD screen displays the options for that transition so users can change parameters without complicated menus.
ΤATEM Advanced Panels have all the controls users need for quick access to all transitions. ΠStandard SMPTE wipes are included. DVE transitions use DVE to create great motion where the entire image in the foreground moves. The t-bar fader allows manual transition for ultimate control.
ATEM Advanced Panel
Another advantage of the ATEM Advanced Panel is the built-in macros, where users can record their own custom macros and trigger them with the push of a button, without computer.
Users can set different macros to trigger under each macro button, and the thin-strip LCD display below the buttons shows which button the macros are assigned to.
